Tips In Preventing Phone Hanging

All smartphones don't have the same capabilities.

Several issues may be responsible for phone hanging at times and this can be so annoying... Here are some tips to avoid so your phone may not hang.

1.  Internal Memory: Your phone's internal memory doesn't only hold your songs, photos, documents and video - it also holds your phone's operating system (OS). The processor is directly in control of the OS which in turn is in control of every other function of your phone as far as software is concerned.
Tip: Always delete files, images, videos and other data that you don't need so that your phone has enough memory to fall back on when it needs to compensate for high memory functions.

2. Obsolete Applications: So many apps and games on your phone  takes up memory space. If they are open and not in use, they take up further space and if your phone is the type that updates apps remotely, yet more space is gone.
Tip: Only keep essential apps on your phone. If you have apps that you don't really need or use often, delete them.
3. Know your phone's limits: There are certain apps and games that are OS, Phone or processor specific. In other words, some apps and games are designed to maximize the capabilities of certain aspects of a phone.
Tip: Not all phones can play 3D games or make use of certain apps. Be sure your phone is capable of handling whatever apps or software you want to put on it.
4. Safeguard your phone: A lot of people don't realize it but viruses can get into your phone whether its internet enabled or not. External memory cards and syncs with other device over bluetooth or WiFi can be an entry point for viruses to get into your phone.
Tip: Make sure your phone has anitvirus software and you update or change it regularly. Antivirus software are usually very small in size and easy to use so you dont have to worry about memory space and/or complexity.
It is important to know that while these are the major reasons why phones hang, the problems are not limited to only those mentioned above. Also, your phone may hang because of one of these issues or a combination of more than one of them.
 5. RAM Memory: The RAM memory on your phone is the amount of memory space the processor is allowed to use while it coordinates the processes on your phone. So typically, a 1GB RAM phone should be faster than a phone with the lesser 512MB RAM space. Also 3G is faster than 2G and so on.
Tip: Always close apps or functions that you are not using. As long as they are open, apps that you are not using take up RAM space, making the processor work more and subsequently make your phone hang.
