Ohanaeze Ndigbo In Lagos Takes Oba Akiolu Of Lagos To The Human Rights Commission

The Ndigbo groups in Lagos have dragged the Oba of Lagos  - Oba, Rilwan Akiolu to the National Human Rights Commission over his threat to drown ALL Igbos in Lagos if they fail to vote his candidate, Akinwumi Ambode, of APC, in Saturday’s gubernatorial elections in the state.
Ohanaeze-Ndigbo in Lagos and Igbo Justice Congress has written a petition to the Executive Secretary of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Prof. Bem Angwe, calling for the intervention of the Commission to forestall the threat by Oba Akiolu. The petition said:

“The entire Igbo in Lagos State seeks your intervention to forestall the threat by HRM Oba Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos to drown all Ndigbo in Lagos State inside the Lagoon if they failed to vote his candidate, Ambode of the APC Lagos".
