UTME: Candidates Gets Results Overnight

JAMB releases results in less than 2 days
Candidates sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) can know how well they have performed two hours after leaving the examination hall as already, about 97,000 candidates who sat for the exams have seen their scores.
The registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB), Prof Dibu Ojerinde who disclosed this yesterday during an inspection and supervision exercise, disclosed that the scores were sent to the mobile phones of the candidates and has served as a
boost for the 100% Computer Based Test exams. For candidates who are at disadvantaged areas and can hardly operate the computer, Ojerinde said “CBT has taken two years to advance and can only get better in subsequent years and once the candidates operate their phones, they can as well be able to operate the computer.”
Candidates that sat for the exams stated that the exam was hitch free and the full blown CBT has helped them to be focused and has developed the zeal to kill the mind of cheating when it arises.
Meanwhile, the CBT which was initially thought to be controversial has recorded a huge success with very minimal short comings in terms of light or computer failure, lateness to exam hall, etc.
