Millions across Britain stopped to watch the first eclipse of the century which occurred around 8.24am today. The moon started slightly moving between us and the sun until the eclipse occurred at about 9.30am.People could not really watch straight to the sun because it'll damage their eyes and the special glasses are really scarce, not seen handy in most superstore. Imagine what these people are experiencing... OMG! I remembered when such eclipse happened partially in Nigeria in the early 70s and 80s.
Another 'deep' partial eclipse visible in the UK will not occur until
August 12 2026, and the next total eclipse not until September 2090.
