FEAST OF ARCHANGELS
WHAT IS IN A NAME.
Each of the Three ARCHANGELS has a different MISSION.
ST. MICHAEL. means WHO IS LIKE GOD. He is the one who lead, fought and drove Satan away from Heaven.
ST. GABRIEL. The messenger of good news. He announced the Birth of John the Baptist. He announced to Mary that she was chosen to become the mother of Jesus.
ST RAPHAEL. GOD heals.
REFLECTION.
LIKE , St. MICHAEL, do I defend the faith and morals, I PROFESS.
LIKE St. GABRIEL, do I bring Good news to people or. DO people see me and rejoice.
LIKE St. RAPHAEL. DO I bring HEALTH OF MIND AND BODY to other. By way of forgiveness etc.
Today Feast reminds us of the Protection of God's power, Strength and Healing of GOD.
CAN WE BE SOURCE OF GOD'S POWER, STRENGTH and HEALING TO OTHERS?
CAN I BE AN ANGEL TO SOMEONE TODAY.

Angels—messengers from God—appear frequently in Scripture, but only Michael, Gabriel and Raphael are named.

Michael appears in Daniel's vision as "the great prince" who defends Israel against its enemies; in the Book of Revelation, he leads God's armies to final victory over the forces of evil. Devotion to Michael is the oldest angelic devotion, rising in the East in the fourth century. The Church in the West began to observe a feast honoring Michael and the angels in the fifth century.

Gabriel also makes an appearance in Daniel's visions, announcing Michael's role in God's plan. His best-known appearance is an encounter with a young Jewish girl named Mary, who consents to bear the Messiah.

Raphael's activity is confined to the Old Testament story of Tobit. There he appears to guide Tobit's son Tobiah through a series of fantastic adventures which lead to a threefold happy ending: Tobiah's marriage to Sarah, the healing of Tobit's blindness and the restoration of the family fortune.

The memorials of Gabriel (March 24) and Raphael (October 24) were added to the Roman calendar in 1921. The 1970 revision of the calendar joined their feasts to Michael's.

Awwwww! Today as we celebrate our marriage anniversary my hubby made this post...... "9 years ago I took you to the Altar of God to say I do, to cling to you for better for worse, for richer for poorer, to live and cherish you till death do us part... I may not have kept all these promises but you're still there for me... Thank you for tolerating me all these years. Yes I didn't make mistake in choosing you to live forever with me. I still choose you today, tomorrow and forever. You're such a virtuous woman full of wisdom, intelligent, caring, hard working and God fearing creature. Choice of every man will want to have! I'm blessed to have you my honey. Happy Anniversary to us... I pray for peace & unity of God and fruitfulness to abide on us as we renew our marriage vows! Thank you my Angel, my love, my honey pie, my sister, my friend, my mother, my life and my all...".

She is surprised at how she is being criticized for having her third child months after welcoming her second child, Henry.

The Justices - Andy and sarah  married for some years without child.  They decided to adopt a child since IVF will cost them a whooping $30,000 to $60,000.  They just got these adorable triplets; Joel, Hannah and Elizabeth... guess what? God works in a mysterious ways!  Most times, when you follow God’s will in one thing, it leads to the next thing.  Sarah became ill just after a week of the adoption and getting to hospital, doctor sends her to ultrasound which result read she was expecting twins.... Wow!  What a double blessing....
